Everybody is doing it lately, it is estimated that 65% of the time those between the ages of 10-60 spend online is spent within a social networking site such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Tumblr, Linkedin or one of the many other smaller sites. 

Much of the time here is spent posting and reading up on what is going on with connections, not in marketing.  So if you are one of the few, who really know how to capitalize on social marketing your business is going to do that much better.

SEO URL Factors to consider:

First and most importantly, lets clean up all those ugly messy URL's and make them look good.  Lets get rid of all those PHP variables and use .htaccess to make them look nice.

Next, try to always keep the URL's simple in nature, too often we see URL's that include nearly a whole sentence.  This is a mistake, they really should not be more than 3-4 words max.  

SEO URL's should be easily readable with easily understandable word use.

Flash SEO is a bit of a contradiction by the definition of SEO.  Starting with a Flash based site, you are at a major disadvantage when it comes to creating an SEO friendly website.  

That's not to say optimization of your flash site isn't possible, just keep in mind that you are starting with, and will always have and are starting with a major disadvantage when all other factors are equal for Flash SEO.  

SEO Quake is a great SEO tool, but it will slow your internet browsing down considerably in it's Firefox version, although the Google Chrome version seems to be a bit quicker. There is also a beta version available for Opera.  However, every time I have used the Firefox version, I have noticed a slowdown immediately after installation.  Therefore, I have not used it in my primary browser.

Twitter SEO is an easy, quick way to add to your search marketing efforts.  It is not very hard at all to quickly add a twitter account with a new email you create on your company domain, or in Gmail, Hotmail, Y-mail, etc..

Once you have created an email, proceed to twitter to set up a new account for your marketing objective.  Once you have your account created, set it up.  It is very easy to set up an account with SEO in mind. 

My experience has been in Drupal, I originally used it because Drupal was recommended by a SEO guru via an email communication I had with him.  You may know him, Aaron Wall.  He uses Drupal for seobook.com, and he suggested that I use it as well, and later he even wrote a blog entry about it. 

I used Drupal for years and was always incredibly loyal to Drupal.  Even after an update that came out broke one of my sites and casued my revenue to decrease by 90% in a few days.
